Once again, Mauritian jockeys riding abroad proved their worth during the weekend, with five riders visiting the winner's enclosure.

Ashvin Goindasamy got the ball rolling at Tauranga - New Zealand on Friday. He scored a double, courtesy of North Of Havana (Race 6) and Ali Arc (Race 7).

On Saturday at Wingatui - New Zealand, Kavish Chowdhoory had a day to remember, scoring a hat-trick. He took out the opening race on the card, courtesy of Justanace, before striking on board Sharpie (Race 4) and Seikrid (Race 9). His compatriot Gosen Jogoo joined in on the act, renewing with success courtesy of Neon Moon (Race 6).

Also in action on Saturday was Laqdar Ramoly, and he managed to rediscover the winning touch at Ascot - Western Australia, courtesy of Express Time (Race 3) and Billy Ain't Silly (Race 5).

Karis Teetan continued his hot run of form at Sha Tin on Sunday. He scored a brace, courtesy of The Hulk (Race 4) and Romantic Combo (Race 7). He now has 25 wins to his credit, only a single win behind Vincent Ho, who is in 3rd place in the Jockeys' standings.
