A meeting was held this morning between Mauritius Turf Club (MTC) Management, Trainers, Assistant Trainers and Stable Managers.
The main issues discussed concerned handicapping regulations, particularly in relation to overweight.
Following an exchange of views, it was decided that existing regulations would be amended in this respect.
Moreover, with regard to the use of anabolic steroids, the newly-introduced regulations will be implemented sooner.
