Red Lotus, hot favourite of the 7th race, has won as expected to give Gilbert Rousset stable and Johnny Geroudis a double, following Seeking Angelo's victory.

Red Lotus was the quickest from his first draw and raced alone upfront. In the home straight, he ran away from the field to win in front of Santos (Faucon).

Keep Walking (Rama) improved this time, finishing 3rd ahead of Heavenly Bandit (Joorawon).
