Not many people watch training this morning at the Champ de Mars where the weather is fine and the temperature pleasantly cool. As is the case every Tuesday, Saturday’s runners, including several participants to the main event, The Princess Margaret Cup (1400m), work fast.

Green Keeper, who will be the horse to beat, exudes form, running 600m in hand in 36.39, finishing in 25.02. Chief Mambo gallops over 800m in a time of 51.25, finishing in 25.70. The other representative of Rousset Stable, Captain Thriller, who will probably be ridden by Robbie Burke, also in great shape, runs 600m in 35.92, finishing in 24.09.

Elusive River, who has not raced since the second meeting, is in very good condition. He travels 600m in 36.38 and the last 400 in 25.24. Casey's War sprints 400m in 25.06.
