Gilbert Rousset stable and Johnny Geroudis have won their 3rd race this afternoon in the main race on 1000m with hot favourite Chief Mambo.

As expected, he was the quickest at the start and Johnny Geroudis controlled the race perfectly in the lead. In the home straight, Chief Mambo drew away from his rivals to win in front of Modern Monet (Burke).

Red Lucifer (Stewart) finished 3rd in front of Captain’s Cheer (Mansour).
