Lovesgotaholdofme jumped awkwardly, shifted out and brushed Jet Force. Jet Force stumbled shortly after the start. From My Heart raced wide from the 500 metres. Dubai raced wide from the 450 metres. From My Heart hung in in the home straight. Leaving the 100 metres Mac Mufti rolled in under pressure. Jet Force, which was improving between Mac Mufti and Lovesgotaholdofme, was crowded for room and had to be steadied. Jockey Joorawon, the rider of Mac Mufti, was shown the video of the incident and told to make a greater effort to straighten his mount.
Routine urine and blood specimens were taken for analysis from Dubai after the race.
