Stewards' Report
Raise Your Bid jumped awkwardly. Spirit jumped awkwardly, throwing its head. Go The Roman jumped awkwardly, shifted ground brushing Gallito. Lousito jumped awkwardly. Shortly after the start Raise Your Bid and Spirit had to be checked when crowded by Go The Roman which was carried in by Gallito which was shifting ground inwards after being initially tight on the inside of Mutual Secret. At the 1400 metres Intsu, when being steadied to obtain a position in the field, raced ungenerously, throwing its head for a considerable distance. Leaving the 1400 metres Go The Roman steadied from the heels of Lousito. Approaching the 1300 metres Raise Your Bid commenced to over-race and was awkward on the heels of Gallito. Go The Roman raced wide in the early and middle stages. Lousito raced wide early. At the 1100 metres Raise Your Bid, after steadying from the heels of Gallito, rolled out and carried Lousito onto Go The Roman. Intsu raced wide from the 600 metres. Mutual Secret was taken wide round the home turn. At the 300 metres Cazam had to be taken around Weston Heritage to continue going forward. Rounding the home turn Weston Heritage was held up behind the tiring Spirit. At the 75 metres Gallito and Intsu came together.
Routine urine specimens were taken for analysis from Gallito, Lousito and Spirit prior to the race and from Weston Heritage after the race.
