Sanish Ramgopal has scored his second win in South Africa. It was at last Friday’s Fairview meeting in the 7th race, The Let Your Taste Buds Race From Continent To Continent MR 86 Handicap (Open - 1000m) aboard top weight Kings Troop (25-1). The Mauritian apprentice, a 4kg claimer, upstaged co-favourites Kabamba, second with Grant Van Niekerk in the saddle, and The Ford, 6th, (M J Byleveld), both at 9-2 whilst leading jockey Anthony Delpech’s ride, Vimy Ridge (15-2), finished a bad last, more than fifteen lengths behind the winner.

Karis Teetan also visited the Winner’s Enclosure at Fairview. He won the 4th race (1600m) on Sir Frank (8-1) who pipped on the post Act of Supremacy (Muzi Yeni).
