Edouard Lacaille, Ramdour Stable jockey, who had appealed The Racing Stewards’ sentence, has had his suspension reduced to only one week.

However, the Rs.20,000 fine is maintained. Edouard Lacaille (War Correspondent ) had  initially been suspended for three weeks and fined Rs. 20,000 for having whipped John Egan (Cool Hand Luke ) in the Azul Plate on 7 August 2010.

Following this decision, jockey Edouard Lacaille has made an appeal to the Appeal Committee so that he takes his suspension on the 25th meeting. The appeal has been accepted.
