The 'Grand Prix White Turf St Moritz' will be run this Saturday. Sixteen horses have been entered in this 1400m sprint (60 +) for which Rousset and Gujadhur Stables are strongly represented with four nominations each.
Rousset has entered Captain's Knock (third lane), Captain's Cheer (4th), Chief Mambo (9th) and Honour In Gold (1st), while Ramapatee Gujadhur has turned to Senor Versace (5th), Modern Monet (10th), Monsieur Dane (7th) and War Of Conquest (16th). Of the two, Gilbert Rousset seems to be better placed, but the race is far from won.
Serge Henry will have to choose between Profit Report (11th), National Play (14th) and Major Storm (12th). We also note the nomination Merven Stable’s crack, Super Storm. He has drawn 15 and, if ever his participation is confirmed, we will closely follow his debut because this son of Rakeen came to us with an excellent reputation, having run with the best in South Africa.
Paul Foo Kune will rely on Elusive River (eighth) and Western Emblem (second) to defend its colours, while Ricky Maingard will turn to Capitaine (6th). Just like the latter, Royal Chalon (13th) of Raj Ramdin Stable, should not be overlooked.
