The small track is muddy again this morning as there have been heavy showers yesterday afternoon at Port Louis. The sky is partly clouded, and horses do their usual Monday workouts : they trot and canter lightly.

Among those who appear on the track, we notice the probable runners of next Saturday’s main event, a handicap race to be run over 1500m for horses rated 60 and above.

Hopefully, the small track will be in a better condition tomorrow, as these horses and many others need to work fast.

The physical condition of the following horses does not go unnoticed this morning : Bobby Bear, Captain Tempest, Hail Atlantis, Pole Of Cold, Alvaro, Iwayini, I'll Be Back, Captain James Cook, Ivory Snow, Cult Status, West Island and Ball Park.
