Mauritian jockey Karis Teetan had a night to remember at Happy Valley, yesterday evening, as he scored a superb hat-trick, winning the 5th, 7th and the final races on the card, winning the Jockeys' Challenge on the night.

Win number one came courtesy of Magnetism, trained by David Ferraris. Positioned in 3rd, he accelerated decisively in the home straight to score his first win in Hong Kong.

In the 7th race, he was on board Happy Cooperation, trained by Benno Yung. Despite breaking from draw 8, he quickly seized the lead, and was not seen again.

The hat-trick was signed, sealed and delivered in the following race, riding Convincible (Francis Lui). It was a convincing win, as he simply took off in the final straight.

Karis Teetan now sits in 7th place in the Jockeys' standings.
